Background of the Study

Employment generation is one of the key objectives of effective tax policies, particularly in regions like Demsa LGA, where economic development is hindered by high unemployment rates. Statement of the Problem

Research Hypothesis

  1. H₀: Tax policies have no significant impact on employment generation in Demsa LGA.
  2. H₀: Various tax policies do not significantly reduce unemployment in Demsa LGA.
  3. H₀: There are significant challenges associated with accessing job opportunities created through tax policies in Demsa LGA.

Significance of the Study

This study will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of tax policies as a tool for employment generation in Demsa LGA. The findings will help policymakers and local governments design more targeted and effective tax policies to promote job creation and economic growth.
